She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozemia Reynolds and Bernadette Reynolds; her husband James Smith, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Lee Reynolds, Beverly St. Julien, Alfreda Journet, Edward Dallas Reynolds, Dudley Reynolds, James Louis Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds (Melvina) of Breaux Bridge and Anthony Reynolds, Sr. (Linda) of Lafayette, Louisiana.
She is survived by: her children, Josephine, Joe-Phine, Beverley Smith-Obrien (Richard), Barbara Haynes (Barry) and James Smith, Jr. (Jacquelyn); her grandchildren, Barry Hayes, Jr., Brittany Haynes Peldyak (Jordan), Kamisha White and Brianna Smith; her great grandchild Karryne Smith; and her nephew Harold Reynolds. She is also survived by brother; and a host of nephews, nieces and wonderful friends.
