It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Ruth (Murray) Swihart in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. W. Murray (Hoss) and Etta Mae Murray (Taylor); her husband Patrick Stephen Swihart, Sr.; her daughter Patricia Ann Swihart Johnson of Midland; and her siblings, Dessie Marie Anderson, Jack Ray Murray and James A. Murray (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Charles Swihart of Midland, James Hoss Swihart of Amarillo and Sharon Ruth Swihart of Midland; and her stepchildren, Melinda Kathryn Parish of Kaufman and Patrick Stephen Swihart, Jr. of Sarasota, Florida.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to Fairmont Park Church of Christ, Midland, Texas, Golf Course Road Church of Christ, Midland, Texas, or New Mexico Christian Children's Home.
