He is survived by: his father Gary Hughes, Jr.; his wife Emily; his mother Melinda Smith; his father-in-law Delbert; his children, Courtney, David Waller, Graham, Luke, Andrew and Ann Shutt; his grandparents, Gary, Connie Hughes, Sr. and Evelyn Hubbard; his great-grandparent James Hampton; his aunts and uncles, Deryl Hughes, Tina Dow, Sheila (Bobby Merck) and Melissa (Heath McDowell); his children, Colt, Kirby Hughes, Justin, Casey, Brad Shafer, Jeremy and Alesha Dow; his grandchildren, Valerie and Travis Brown; his children, Stephen and DiAnne Dow; his grandchildren, Drevon Johnson, Whitney and Chad Seybert; his children, Tyler and Kelsey McDowell; his grandson Todd Bigham; his great-aunt Debra Sampey; and his cousin Misty Dow (Alex).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM.
