With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Wayne Fain of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lida Luther Fain and Norma Louise Curry; his wife Patsy Fain; his daughter Bonnie Underwood (Les Underwood); and his siblings, Jerry Smith, Douglas Gunn and Elaine Kelso.
He is survived by: his brother Lonnie Fain (Janet Fain) of Avery; his sons, John Jones of Gainesville and Jason Fain (Jeanne Fain) of Fort Worth; and his grandchildren, Krista Lopez (Brian Lopez) of Newport News, VA, Russell Townsley (Erin Townsley) of Thackerville, Kathy Jones of Ardmore, Kyle Townsley (Dale Hale) of Thackerville and Kevin Jones (Angie Jones) of Sherman. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Keller (1601 S Main St, Keller, TX 76248).
