She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Walter Hicks and Ollie Lee Tennison Hicks; and her husband Lemuel D. Johns of Fort Worth, Texas.. She is survived by: her brother Marvin Keith; her children, Bob Johns (Debbie) of Waco, Texas and Janet Wynne (Paul) of Fort Worth; and her grandchildren, Lauren Ivy of Fort Worth, Jammie McLain (Aaron) of Fort Worth, Allie Lamb (Brian) of Fort Worth, Tyler Wynne of Fort Worth and Hannah Johns of New York City.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Normandale Baptist Church in support of their Snack Packs ministry which provides weekend snacks for area school children in need of food.
