She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas Salazar and Encarnacion Corregidor Salazar. She is survived by: her children, Chad Schmidt, Morgan Schmidt and Shanna Schmidt Bass; her sister Charito Salazar Buckly; her nephews, Ryan Neduelan and Itan Neduelan; and her daughter-in-law Rachel Moreland. She is also survived by grandchildren, and three (3) great-grandchildren.
