He is survived by: his children, Rene', Vicki Dodson (Dirk), Connie Boring (Jon), Anna Clayton (Elvin), Robert Carte (Angelique) of Keller and Jim Carte (Dana) of St. Martinville, LA.; and his pets, Bo and Maverick. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
