He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson; his children, Roderick Pye, Brian McFarland (LaKeisha), Mia Thompson and Keena Thompson; his sister Nettie Thompson; and his sibling's children, James Pye, Sonyette Wade and Chermuna Wade. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
