He was predeceased by: his wife Etheleen P. Duckett; his son Rudy; and his siblings, James Duckett and Cora Blakley. He is survived by: his children, Etheleen L., Dorothy, Jackie and Robert, Jr.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
