She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Mae Stokes and Richard Archer; her husband Irvin Jackson (Jack); her sisters, Alberta Taylor, Billie Henderson and Mary Archer; and her siblings' children, James Taylor and Sylvia Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Ric Jackson (Diana) and Norma Mae Rollins (Charles); her sisters, Dr. Carol Archer and Maria Bhattarchargee; her grandchildren, Erica Higginbotham (Billy), David Jackson (Lauren), Troy Spruce (Cortney), Jared Spruce and Lori Lindley; her great grandchildren, Sealee, Maelee, Claire, Addison, Tate, Andrew, Avery and Carpenter; and her nephews, Roger Taylor, Danny Henderson, Darrel Henderson and Brent Jackson.
