She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father Joseph Burl (Shirley Ann Bailey); her husband Chester Allen Barden Jr.; her children, Tara Lynn McCoy and Chester Allen Barden; her former life partner Matthew McCoy; her children, Aiden, Annabelle, Ava, George and Ashley Barden; and her grandchildren, Aiden and Annabelle.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Live Oak Chapel at Greenwood Cemetery Tuesday (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). An entombment was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the same location.
