He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Jenny Purvee and Dwight Purvee; and his siblings, Elwin, Clarence, Daniel, Clifton, Vivian, Carrie and Myrtle.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Purvee; his sons, Wilford Purvee Jr. and Russell Purvee (Sheri); and his grandchildren, Sara Purvee, Krystal Purvee, Alan Purvee, Elizabeth Doyle and Robert Devers. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
