With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Vaughan Harris of Frankston, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ray Harris; her parents, Russell Vaughan and Beulah Vaughan (Fagala); her daughter Janet Kay Harris; and her siblings, Mary Kathrine Vaughan, Larry Lee, James and Lemuel Vaughan.

She is survived by : her children, Bobby Harris (Ginger) of Flint, Thomas Harris, Peter Hense of Plano, Debbie Scott (Craig) of Alvarado, Sonya White (Joe) of Crandall and Paula Hintz (Paul) of Fairview; her siblings, Jerry Vaughan (Linda) of Montalba, Nita Shaw of Dallas and Linda Holcomb (Ronnie) of Montalba; her in-laws, Mary Harris of Jacksonville, Jimmy Harris, Debbie of Athens, Nettie Holland of Athens, Nell Hall of Frankston, Dianne of Frankston and James Beard of Frankston; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Lori, Brooke, Heath, Trent, Christopher, Meghan, Jackson, Katie, Cory, Paige, Tanner, Brighton, Parker, Jase and Riley. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Frankston East (379 Pine St, Frankston, TX 75763). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (408 Garner St, Frankston, TX 75763).
