He was predeceased by: his father Stanley James Prochnow. He is survived by: his mother Genevieve Metzger Prochnow; his children, Lars Prochnow, Saxony Prochnow and Jorgen Prochnow; his brother Stuart (Sheryl Tugas Prochnow); his close friend Dr. Alena Grechishnikova; his uncle Jerry (Debbie Prochnow); his aunts, Frances Metzger, Jeanette Metzger Geyer and Minerva Metzger Moore; and his nieces, Jasmine Prochnow and Jaylene Prochnow.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (9732 FM 1631 Rd, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery (9732 FM 1631 Rd, Fredericksburg, TX 78624).
