It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginger J. DeSpain of Freer, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnston and Alberta Roberts Johnston; and her daughter Lacie L. DeSpain. She is survived by: her husband Dan C. DeSpain; her sons, Shane A. Price of Houston, Texas, Daniel W. DeSpain of Shreveport, Louisiana and Jake T. DeSpain (Bonnie A.) of Waskom, Texas; her siblings, Mickey Johnston of Freer, Texas and Charlotte Young of Delhi, Texas; and her grandchildren, Dylan Mitchell, Alli DeSpain, Jake DeSpain Jr., Casey Leone and Eli Leone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
