She was predeceased by: her husband Israel "Rale" Garza; her parents, Guadalupe Naranjo and Maria Naranjo; her brother Guadalupe Ramon; and her sister-in-law Gloria Naranjo.
She is survived by: her children, Roland Garza, Ronald Garza and Rebecca Buhidar (Russell); her siblings, Ricardo Naranjo, Cande Person (Jim), Hermelinda Norris (Scott) of Victoria, Texas, Yolanda Anderson (John) of Freer, Texas and Alma Garza (Carlos) of Freer, Texas; and her grandchildren, Abigail, Kayla, Marcus, Mariah, Renae, Rebecca Rae, Roman, Ella, Jaime, Marc and Ryan. She is also survived by six great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home (120 S Sun Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home - Freer (120 S Sun Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1500 S Duval Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A burial was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at the Hahl Memorial Cemetery.
