With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Floyd Metcalf Jr. (Friendswood, Texas), who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Metcalf, Sr. and Cecilia Metcalf; and his parents-in-law, David Lee Elliott and Ruby Arlene Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Janice Elliott Metcalf; his daughter Julie Michael (Joel); his grandchildren, Jenna Sowa, Jordan Sowa, Trace Michael, Shelby and Devon Titzman; his brother-in-law Don Ellioitt (Bonnie Elliott); his niece Amy Spooner; his nephew Jeff Elliott; and his extended family, Jon, Kami Michael, Ava Michael and Allie Michael.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home (311 N Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
