She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Belanger and Calma Belanger; and her siblings, Wayne Belanger and Arlene Belanger. She is survived by: her husband Jon K. Peterson; her son Stephen W. Brady (Dee Dee); her nephew Mark Heft (Heather); her great-nephews, Syrus Heft and Preston Heft; her great-niece Maya Heft; her brothers-in-law, Ron Peterson (Linda) and Bill Peterson (Joanna); Kross Griffith. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
