It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madlyn Donofrio Long (Friendswood, Texas), born in Rockaway, New Jersey, who passed away on November 9, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Donofrio and Lucy Donofrio; and her brothers, Patrick and Joseph. She is survived by : her former life partner John; her daughter Donna; her husband Jack; her grandchildren, Dr. Jaclyn (Troy Rudzinski) and Officer Jeffrey (Brittany Jerz); her siblings, Lucille Struble and Donald Donofrio; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie and Ceil Donofrio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to St. Cecilia's Church, Rockaway, or the Greater New Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association be made in Madlyn's name.
