He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Bergman, Jr. and Mary Ertel Bergman; his grandparents, George, Cordova Bergman, Sr., Roy and Frances Bonner; his brother George A. Bergman III; and his grandson Michael Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Paris Bergman; his children, Donna Bergman, Christina Cherry (James), Amy Escoto (Herminio), Abigail Bergman (Igor Gorlach), Karl Bergman (Dawnna), Aaron Riley (Chelsea) and Nathan Riley (Megan); and his sisters, Mary Ann Boehlhoff (Bergman) and Martha Ellen Ambrosio (Bergman). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shadycrest Baptist Church (3017 Yost Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
