He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Savell and Lucy Savell; and his sisters, Barbara Lewis, Shirley Nelson and Judy Barbie.

He is survived by: his sister Becky Bray; his grandchildren, Jessi Savell, Jake Savell and Ash Jenkins; and his friend Carolyn Teague.

“What a shock to see that Leo has passed away physically, but our memories of him will always be with us. Leo and I were born only five days apart and we knew each other all of our life. He and I lived a block apart and grew up together enjoying many birthday parties when we were kids. We were always there ready to play outside, explore and share hobbies. It was like having another brother (although, I did have 4 others). I feel the loss, but I'm so lucky to have shared a friendship with him”
