It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Lee Wheeler of Fruitvale, Texas, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlie Lee Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bennie D. Wheeler and Lela Mae McDougle Wheeler; his son Larry Lane Wheeler; and his siblings, Vernon Wheeler, Bennie J. Wheeler, Ray Wheeler, Stanley Wheeler, Larry E. Wheeler, Betty McCellon, Katherine Abrahamson and Barbara Wheeler.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Wheeler of Fruitvale; his children, Denny Wheeler (Stacie) of Lindale, Charles Lee Wheeler (LeAnn) of Fruitvale, Robin Cartwright (Jeff) of Canton and Darlinda Wheeler (Casey Brookshire); and his sister Stella Noble of Turlock, California. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
