It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hazel (Fruitvale, Texas), born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her brother-in-law Jeffrey Jones. She is survived by : her husband Jim Hazel of Fruitvale; her father-in-law Osa Dee Hazel (Billie) of Fruitvale; her children, Jonathan Smith (Amanda) of Fruitvale, Laura Joslin of Fruitvale and Michelle Cobb of Fairfield; her siblings, Dean Laughery (Glenda) of Poetry and Lois Taylor (Bob) of Nevada; her sister-in-law Judy Woodrum (Jimmy) of Fruitvale; and her grandchildren, Garret Joslin, J. C. Smith, Taylor and Tori. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
