He is survived by: his wife Rosa Sanchez of Fruitvale; his children, J. Refugio (Marisela) of Fruitvale, Jorge (Margarita) of Fruitvale, Josefina (José Benítez), Manuel (Blanca) of Fruitvale, Ignacio (María) of Fruitvale and María; his grandchildren, Gabriela Solís, Cristian Sánchez, Maricruz Rojas, Jorge Iván Sánchez, Ramiro Benítez, Óscar Iván Benítez, Víctor Sánchez, Joel Sánchez, Alex Gustavo Sánchez, Jaquelyn Sánchez, Vanessa Rodríguez, Flor Misty Rodríguez, Lizet Rodríguez, José Guadalupe Sánchez, Diego Jesús Sánchez, José Francisco Sánchez, Leslie Daniela Sánchez, Yamileth Sánchez, María Pamela Sánchez, Jovani Jesús Sánchez, Bryan Eduardo Sánchez and Matthew Sánchez; his great grandchildren, Haziel Rojas, Juliana Solís, Isabela Solís, Isabel Solís, Julián Solís, Alana Valentina Benítez, Leonardo Benítez, Belinda Benítez, Sebastián Benítez, Adelyn Sánchez, Jayleen Sánchez, Aileen Sánchez and Genevieve Sánchez; and his siblings, Francisco Sanchez of Oklahoma, Everardo Sanchez and Herminia Sanchez.
A prayer was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the St. Celestine Catholic Church (870 W Stadium Dr, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Woodside Cemetery.
