She was predeceased by : her parents, Abraham "Tom" Nelms and Annette "Anne" Nelms (Coonrod). She is survived by : her daughter Sarah Anne Sharp (Ross) of Gail; and her grandson Jason Sharp of Lubbock.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home (3101 College Ave, Snyder, TX 79549). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gail Cemetery (732 E. Kincaid Ave, Fluvanna, TX 79738).
