He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Chilcoat and Wanda Chilcoat; his wife Ruby Jo Chilcoat; his siblings, Larry Lee Chilcoat and Merry Alice Hatcher; and his great grandchild Oliver Durrett.

He is survived by : his children, Stuart Lee Chilcoat (Shauna) and Leah Jean Anderson (Grayson); his grandchildren, John, Sarah, Erin, Grayson Jr., Landon and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Keylee, Kinsley and Evelyn; and his sisters, JoAnn Booher, Tutts Harrison, Jean Shears, Janice Uselton and Patsy Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 13th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (Whitesboro, TX 76273).
