He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stockard and Thelma Stockard (Gotcher) of Lake Dallas; his wife Nancy Herrington; his son John; and his siblings, Mary Jo Williams, Raymond Stockard, Gladys Carlton, Ruth Slater and Glen Curtis Stockard.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Stockard (Janet) of Krum, Texas, Glenn David Stockard (Rosie) of Gainesville, Texas, Sharon Stockard of Anchorage, Alaska and Patti Ann Mauldin of Thackerville, Oklahoma; his siblings, Alfred Stockard and Ann Morriss (Richard); his brother-in-law Gerald Slater; his grandchildren, Jennifer Stockard, Brandon Stockard, Jason Stockard, Chris Mauldin, Jonathan Stockard, Rachel Ruiz, Quinn Berry, Patty Franklin, Billy Franklin and Michael Franklin (Mikey); and his friend Fred Grice of Marietta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
