It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Schumacher (Gainesville, Texas), born in Muenster, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schumacher and Elizabeth Schumacher (Schniederjan); and his brother Henry Schumacher, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Clarice Smouse (Lubbock), Larry Schumacher (Muenster), Barbara Bezner (Lindsay), Peggy Potts (Keller), John Schumacher (Vikki) of Boise City, OK, Rudy Schumacher (Era), Tim Schumacher (Lindsay), Gene Schumacher (Era), Donna Harlow (Canton), Chuck Schumacher (Gainesville), Hank Schumacher (Lindsay), Kevin Schumacher (Callisburg), Mark Schumacher (Dalhart) and Janie Cartmell (Frisco); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Tew, Rick, Wayne, Holder, Zack Schumacher and Leslie Crutsinger; and his siblings, Leona Miller (Ben), Mary Lou Schroeder and Melvin Schumacher (Patsy). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that any memorial contributions be made to Saint Mary's School.
