It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Eben Ekstrum in Galena Park, Texas, born in Frankfort, Kansas, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lonita Ekstrum; and his children, Lisa Goad, Ann Ekstrum and Donald Ray Ekstrum. He is survived by: his children, Dave Ekstrum and Frances Jones; his granddaughters, Amanda Pridgen and Ann Beeman; and his great grandchildren, Mona Beeman, Eben Beeman and Noah Pridgen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nassau Bay Baptist Church (18131 Nassau Bay Dr, Houston, TX 77058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lake Tomahawk Christian Retreat Center.
