With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Elizabeth Mallia-Nigrelle (Galveston, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mallia and Giovanna Mallia; and her brother Charles B. Mallia Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kenny (Becky Nigrelle), Michael (Jennifer Nigrelle) and Michelle Arcidiacono (Tobin Murtagh); her grandchildren, Ashley Nigrelle-Spradley (William Spradley), Megan Nigrelle (John Norris), Lauren Arcidiacono, Anthony Arcidiacono (Makenna Mitchell), Trey (Annaya Nigrelle), Tyler Nigrelle (Wendy Clark) and Ramsey (Alexandria Velasquez); and her great grandchild Allie Nigrelle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Malloy Funerals & Cremations (3028 Broadway Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1010 35th St, Galveston, TX 77550). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2506 65th St, Galveston, TX 77551).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the ASPCA, causes that Anne supported throughout her life.
