He is survived by : his wife Irma D Hernandez of Galveston; his children, Frank "Chacho" Hernandez III of Galveston, Gabriel Hernandez of Galveston and Angela D Ellison (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jacob, Angel and Evangelina Ellison of Pensacola, Florida.; and his sisters, Irene Pena of Deer Park, Elizabeth Hughes of Texas City, Margaret Leyva of Galveston, Joan Palomo of Galveston and Lucy Moreno of Galveston.
