He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nicholas Agorastos Sr. and Florence Thompson Agorastos. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bernice Cooper Agorastos of Galveston; his sons, Kevin Agorastos (Maryles) of Galveston, George Nicholas Agorastos III (Christy) of Nevada, Steven Agorastos of Galveston and Ronald Agorastos of Hawaii; and his brother Emilo Mata (Lavelle) of Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Island Church (2411 69th St, Galveston, TX 77551). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery (3015 57th St, Galveston, TX 77551).
