It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leticia Hernandez of Galveston, Texas, born in Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Almanza (Speaking) and Augustine Almanza. She is survived by: her siblings, Hector Hernandez (Sarah), Margaret Dannenmaier (Bill), Armando Almanza (Tracy) and Yolanda Quintanilla (Alonso); and her siblings' children, Margo, Jessica, Alonso III, Brandon, Adam, Aaron, Gabriel and Andrew. She is also survived by grandniece and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1021 34th St, Galveston, TX 77550). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2506 65th St, Galveston, TX 77551).
