He is survived by : his sister Evangelina Banuelos; his children, Terry Rutherford (Art), Darlene Glaser (Bill), David Banuelos (Stacy), Angel Price (Bret, Sr.), Marian Stanzel (Paul) and Gregory Banuelos (Tsu); and his wife Mary Ellen Puente.

In order to support his large family, he also worked at the Moody Compress, as an exterminator, and as a representative for a foundation company.
