He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Sr. Gonzales and Carmen Gonzales (Juana "Jeanette" Gonzales); his son Peter Gonzales III; and his sister-in-law Gracie Gonzales. He is survived by: his brothers, Arthur Gonzales, Richard Gonzales (Darla) and Robert Gonzales (Jo Yvonne); his children, Elaine Ayala (Chris) and John Edward Gonzales (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Johnathan Gonzales (Skye), Jeffrey Wadkins, Miranda Gonzales, Jake Wadkins, Jonah Gonzales and Isabella Ayala. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
