With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard R. Fritz of Galveston, Texas, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Emory and Elizabeth Irene Fritz; his sisters, Donna Jean Knotts and Margaret Ann Hankins (Peggy); and his grandson Daniel Fritz.

He is survived by : his wife Pamela; his brother Donald (Gayle Fritz); and his children, Richard Reed Fritz, Jr., Rebecca Jean Pennington, George Curtis Fritz and Mary Victoria Price. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish, 1010 35th Street, Galveston, Texas 77550 or to the charity of one's choice.
