It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas James Schwenk of Galveston, Texas, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Schwenk and Joan J. Schwenk; his husband Jack Bell; his brother Chris; and his niece Courtney Schwenk.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Schwenk (Ericka), Jim Schwenk (Susan) and Michelle Halady (Walter); his siblings' children, Amanda Harman (Phill), Stacey Lipe (Henry), Emilie Schwenk, Annie Schwenk, Joseph Schwenk (Mary Beth), Daniel Schwenk and Brian Schwenk (Jake); his family, Michael Golas, John Hayes, Meg Drislane, Kevin Connelly, Marianne Auriemma, Jim Amick, Doug Frey, Larry Krcma, Steven Everhart, Kevin Monroe, Jim Butts, Patrick Collins, Rich Spethman, Recie Kramer, Julie Ann Brown and Shannon Caldwell (Bryan); and also Jake Heller. He is also survived by five grandnieces and one grandnephew.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Malloy Funerals & Cremations (3028 Broadway Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (2216 Avenue H, Galveston, TX 77550).
