Tremain Sylvester Obituary
Tremain Jahmai Sylvester was born on October 19, 2002 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Johanna Watson and Travis Sylvester. He departed his life on June 7, 2020.
At the age of 7, Tremain announced to the family he was called to preach and wanted to become a preacher. Tremain loved going to church and would often pretend to preach to his stuffed animals and his sisters' toys.
During his childhood, Tremain was very inquisitive and impressionable. He was very loyal, hard working, and challenged himself as well as others.
Tremain attended Montezuma Elementary in Albuquerque, New Mexico during 2nd and 3rd grad, where he earned all honors, became the class tutor and would often assist his instructor teaching class. He was also selected to be apart of the gifted and talented program where he became apart of Student council. He also earned several awards and certificates and was voted most popular.
Tremain later attended St. Peter The Apostle Catholic School, Houston, Tx grades 5th-8th. During this time, he continued to raise the bar, and was in student council.
Tremain graduated high school at age 16 from Gary Job Corps and attended Career Health Professions. upon completion, tremain became a registered dental assistant. Tremain was currently attending Allied Health Career Training Center as a nursing assistant.
Tremain will forever be remembered by his parents Johanna Watson and Travis Sylvester: four siblings, Samaria Sylvester, Jeremiah Navarro, Gabriel Watson, Saniyah Reese: Grandparents Paula Watson & Damon and Verlene Sylvester: great grand parents Ollie and Lester Smith , Andrew and Laurencetta Watson as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his favorite dogs Shon and Cookie.
