He is survived by: his father David Valkenburg; his stepmother Dianne Van Valkenburg; and his siblings, Gregory Van Valkenburg, Christopher Van Valkenburg, Amanda Jones (Abel) and Emily Muil (Duncan). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
