He is survived by: his sister Margaret Montgomery; his sibling's children, Bryan Stringer (Jane), Robert Stringer, Cynthia Stringer Martin (Kell) and Andrea Montgomery Stewart (Paul); his brother-in-law Teddy Roy Brown; his sons, James and Edwin; and also Brian Hale.
