He is survived by : his wife Catherine (Cathy); his father David Sangren of Harrison; his siblings, Susan Sangren of Harrison, Kathy Sparkes (Mike) of Baytown and Larry Sangren of Garland; his nieces and nephews, Brent Sparkes (Kristine), Amy Perkins (David), Ross Sparkes (Emma), Katie Sparkes and Lauren Sparkes; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paisley Sparkes, Liv Sparkes, Millie Sparkes, Pierce Perkins, Hudson Sparkes and Knox Sparkes; and his caregivers, Sally and Angelica.

Donations may be made in Ken's memory to UT Southwestern Medical Center.

“To Kenneth’s family, I am sorry for your loss. You all, including Ken are in my thoughts and prayers. I knew Ken back in the early 80’s, when we were young engineers working at E-Systems and working on difficult engineering problems and tight time constraints. Ken was an “Expert Engineer” who solved our most difficult problems and very quickly. He was also ready and available to help others solve their problems and he always continued to provide that help and support. He will be in my prayers.”
