He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawson, Sr. and Leona Kirby Lawson; his sister Sharon Lawson; and his brothers-in-law, John Tompros and Lester Hickman, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Diana Hickman Lawson; his grandchildren, Eisley, Jubilee and Lucky Lawson; his siblings, Nancy Tompros, Janice Tullos (Richard) and Guy Lawson (Paula); his sisters-in-law, Susan Ratcliff (Carl) and Suzanne Hickman; and also, William Gregory "Billy" Lawson (Kelly) and Bryan Robert Lawson (Lucy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
