She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Dean and Emma Jewell Grimes Ament; her husband Hayden Young; and her siblings, Douglas Lowrey Ament and Doris Dean Coward (Byrom).
She is survived by: her sons, John Hayden Young (Sherri) and Douglas Dan Young (Marion); her grandchildren, Josh Young (Chelsea), Jacob Young, Cassidy Young and Riley Miller; and her siblings, Laverne Harris, Kay Herring (Bill) and Billy Clyde Ament. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
