He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Samuel and Stella Bennett Bartels; and his brother Ron Bartels (Gayle). He is survived by: his wife Lois Williams Bartels; his sister-in-law Kathy Williams Coffman (Gerry); and his brother Gary Bartels. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trinity Baptist Church-Building Fund, 1518 Main Street, Gatesville, Texas, 76528.
