She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hicks and Nadine Russell Hicks. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Nixon (Matt); her grandchildren, Brittany Jennings (Justin), Abby Wendeborn (Jodi), Lauren Kelley (Kyle), Dakota Hancock, Braden Nixon (Brendy) and Justin Nixon; her great grandchildren, Gracelyn Jennings, Kyzlee Jennings, Everlee Jennings, Brenly Nixon, Bree Nixon, Brantley Kelley, Hannah Kelley and Raelyn Kelley; her sister Mary Hicks; and her pet Jake.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Ater Cemetery (145 Co Rd 107, Gatesville, TX 76528).
