She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Alvarado Sr. and Janie Valencia; her brother Joe Alvarado Jr.; and her son Joey Saenz. She is survived by: her husband Rafael Saenz; her daughter Angie Saenz of Austin; her grandchildren, Kaci Jenkins and Kayli Negrette of Austin; and her sisters, Maria Smith of Jonesboro, Consualo Esparza and Linda Zaragoza of Valley Mills. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
