She was predeceased by: her parents, O. Z. Ballard and Jewel Ballard; her husband Charles S. Parks; her son David Gordon Parks; and her brother Ronald James Ballard.
She is survived by: her son Charles Richard Parks; and her sister Betty Jo Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close cousins.
