She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennis Featherston and Ellie Necessary Featherston; her husband Ray Massingill; her siblings, Reva Rasco, Willis Featherston and Rayburn Featherston of Moye Featherston, J. D; her sons-in-law, Nelson Starr and Greg Woodson; and her grandson-in-law Chuck Haferkamp.

She is survived by : her children, Wynona Talbert of Clifton, Donna Starr of Royce City, Gary Massingill (Karen) of Turnersville, Lynn Erwin (Randy) of Gatesville and Kay Woodson of Temple; and her sisters, Reda Massingill of Farmers Branch and Mary Beth Truett of Mesquite. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
