She was predeceased by : her parents, Herm Cummings and Rosie Shoenewolf Cummings; her stepmother Dorothy; and her sisters, Jeanne Hayes, Pat Worthington and Yvonne Strickland.

She is survived by : her daughter Karie Leigh Turk; her nephews, Brandon Strickland and Trey Sandig; her husband Ronnie Clark Turk; her grandsons, Cody and Caden McNiel; her sister Joyce Sandig; her son-in-law Jamie McNiel; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Fortenberry, Cecil Strickland and Frank Turk Jr. (Rose). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
