He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Faye Bednorz; his cousin Steven White; his aunts and uncles, Connie Dunn (Bednorz), Brenda White (Bednorz), Sam Bednorz and Bill Whitworth; and his grandparents, Walter John Bednorz, Eulalia "Lolly" Rose Bednorz (Strzelczyk), William Boyd Whitworth and Martha Ann Whitworth (Jones).
He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Ann Bednorz (Whitworth) of George West and Walter James "Jimmy" Bednorz, Sr.; his children, Brady Bednorz (Britney) of Stephenville, Emily Bednorz Nelson (Brady) of Weatherford, Bailey Boucher of Three Rivers and Trista Boucher of Terrell; his sisters, Donna Bednorz VanWay (Todd) of Dinero and Amy Bednorz Walters (Brian) of Louise; his siblings' children, Nicholas VanWay, Matthew VanWay, Ivan Walters and Kaylee Walters; and his significant other Marcie Martin.
